Koi vs. Fiction is a major new chapter in the Glenwood universe that brings together several of my older unpublished stories into one larger crossover narrative. By pulling ideas from Retroman, The Digital Brothers, and Dreamworld out of the vault, this project reimagines forgotten concepts as essential parts of a rebooted Glenwood franchise. At its core, the story represents both a revival of past creativity and the beginning of something much bigger.

Koi vs. Fiction is a high-concept fantasy thriller centered on Koi Safari, a young writer whose imagination suddenly becomes the most dangerous force in his world. After receiving a mysterious black marble-like book, Koi begins using it to shape the story of Glenwood, only to discover that every word he writes starts unfolding in real life. What first feels like an unbelievable creative gift quickly turns into a terrifying burden as fiction and reality collide, placing Koi at the center of a crisis far greater than anything he ever imagined. When a secretive government agency that has been tracking the book steals it with plans to weaponize its power, Koi is forced into a desperate race against time. If he cannot reclaim the book and rewrite the story’s ending, Glenwood—and everyone he loves—could be erased from existence forever.
