'The heroes among us'

New Icons is a dynamic group composed of young adults in their twenties, all of whom are the children of the original safari crew. This new generation steps into the legacy left by their parents, embracing the challenge of fighting against the corruption and criminality that plague their hometown of Glenwood. The group dedicates themselves to confronting powerful and dangerous adversaries, including infamous public figures, organized gangs, and serial killers. Their mission is not only to protect the city but also to uphold the values and principles established by their parents before them.

The members of New Icons—Sae and Saad Safari, Chris Bashir, Mahogany Brooks, Aaliyah Stone, Simone Doyle, and Quinyon Keller—are united by their shared history and the responsibility they feel toward Glenwood. However, their journey is far from straightforward. Each character faces intense personal struggles and emotional challenges that are woven into their daily lives. As they navigate the pressures of adulthood, they must reconcile their roles as vigilantes with their own desires, fears, and relationships.

Beyond their fight against external threats, the New Icons grapple with deeper issues such as identity, loyalty, trauma, and the search for purpose. The drama that unfolds within the group is as compelling as their battles in the city, creating a rich narrative that explores the complexities of growing up and inheriting a legacy fraught with danger and expectation. Together, these young adults strive to make a difference in Glenwood, supporting each other through adversity while learning to balance their personal growth with the weight of their responsibilities.
